Junior Rugby Match Report

On a fine warm and sunny day, the boys were itching to get stuck into the real stuff. Although we were short of numbers in the U10s squad, I’m proud to report that our boys put up a massive effort, but in the end we came off second best against Melbourne.

Playing with a slightly under-manned side the U12’s were defeated by a much stronger team from Powerhouse. The boys put up a great fight and scored the last points as the whistle blew, narrowing the margin. The final result Powerhouse 62 and Maroondah 19.

The U14’s played Eltham and as the game began, Eltham showed a remarkable improvement from the last time the two sides met. From the get go both teams played with ball in hand but our boys were able to keep most of the possession, extending the lead with every opportunity. The final result Maroondah 53 and Eltham 32.

Thanks to our parents and supporters for your time and patience with all our boys.
